Branding Goals
With the official business launch right around the corner and many loose ends to tie up in the final days, the client had grown tired of trying to figure out their branding, web design, and social media strategy & content creation on their own. Owners, Carrie and Andrei contacted me to do a top-to-bottom refresh of their entire digital presence in order to present a sleek, professional-yet-inviting look in alignment with their goal to provide a “magical, safe space that inspires self-love for every body” – the tagline and mission statement we created in our discovery meeting.

Social Media Strategy and Ads

The “Set-up for Success” package includes an editorial calendar and a month of posts on both Instagram and Facebook. I went with a combination of photos and graphics, focused on “evergreen” content about the business and employees.

Marketing Goals
Since organic growth on social media is no longer a viable option, I created a video ad to run on Facebook and Instagram with the purpose of introducing the brand to a strategic demographic within the local audience to develop recognition for retargeting later on down the sales funnel. I also ran 2 Google Ads to assist in leads from people in the area, using popular keywords and search terms, as well as maximizing conversions through Google My Business.

Grand Opening!
All of our hard work paid off when we got to celebrate with friends, family, and community members at the Open House grand opening party, which I advertised through community platforms, social media, and good ol’ fashioned flyers on bulletin boards around the small town of Alameda, CA. The turnout was so good, the space could barely contain all the guests!
It was such an honor to help a new small business owner turn their passion into a sustainable business, It’s why I do what I do!
but the champagne and charcuterie boards don’t hurt either 😉
Tessa was a huge help to us. As brand new baby business owners, my wife and I had no idea how to go about marketing our new skincare studio. Tessa swept in and took care of everything. From our website to online marketing to our grand opening party, Tessa helped us through the whole process. They explained everything they did for us very clearly and we’ve had great results. Thank you Tessa!
